Hotel Neue Post opts for Haro
THE tradition-steeped Neue Post family hotel in Mayrhofen blends Alpine coziness with modern style elements. This was also visible when the hotel decided to renovate some of its bedrooms with new flooring and opted for Disano, the healthy living design floor from HARO.
Haro says its design floors are thus the perfect complement to the owner family’s desire for healthy living, ease of care and a harmonious style of wellbeing.
The Zillertal (‘Ziller valley’) is a popular holiday resort, a Mecca for Tyrolean cheese specialties and a music group of the same name. The alpine valley in Tyrol is known the world over as a summer and winter destination.
The Ziller valley naturally springs to mind when it comes to a holiday in the mountains. More than seven million overnight stays every year are proof enough. 670km of ski runs are available in winter, while the 1,400km of trails through the natural park region entice tourists from all around the globe to the holiday resorts in the summer.
Located in the heart of the Ziller valley, the lively community of Mayrhofen has since the ‘60s been known primarily as a winter sports region with more than 35 hotels and numerous restaurants.
The current landlords Gisela and Fritz Pfister took over The Hotel Neue Post in 1961 from their parents and have now been operating it as a family business for more than 40 years. With the first official records dating back to 1664, it’s been operating as a hotel since the end of the 19th century.
The generously appointed new hotel bedrooms in the annex are a blend of traditional and modern design. Whether double room or spacious Vital Suite with infrared cabin, all rooms were fitted out with the healthy living Disano by Haro design floor. The chosen Mountain Oak style with textured surface is said to be in harmony with the interior design style of the cozy bedrooms. Soft, quiet and warm under-foot – these and other attributes convinced the hotelier family to opt for the healthy living and naturally PVC-free and plasticiser-free Haro design floor, which is certified by the ‘Blue Environmental Angel’ award, says the company.
It adds: ‘Durability and ease of maintenance are of course also especially important when it comes to daily routine. And the Disano Classic also fulfils this requirement in proven style. The Hotel Neue Post is thus the perfect example of sustainability on the part of two-family businesses for whom quality and customer focus in harmony with nature and the environment have been standard bearers for more than 100 years.’
