Polyflor donates flooring to local RSPCA centre

POLYFLOR recently donated Polysafe safety flooring to the RSPCA Bury & Oldham facility at Strinesdale Country Park, Oldham.

Three shades of Polysafe Mosaic PUR safety flooring were used throughout the building, with colours being used to indicate different zones.

Colour coding is used to help RSPCA staff to use the correct cleaning products in each area.

Polysafe Mosaic PUR is a decorative safety vinyl flooring available in 10 colours, reportedly featuring a high-density flake decoration and safety aggregates incorporated in the vinyl. It complies with HSE and UK Slip Group Guidelines to give sustainable slip resistance, as well as adhering to the European standard for safety flooring.

Polysafe Mosaic flooring was coved up the walls and welded to provide a reportedly hygienic surface that can be easily cleaned. Polysafe Mosaic features Polyflor’s polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) which is said to provide a low cost, lifetime polish-free maintenance regime.

Denise McCabe, operations director for the Bury Oldham and District branch said, “We chose Polyflor’s Polysafe Mosaic safety flooring for our new facility as we had some installed in our old centre and found it performed much better than our resin floors.”

Polysafe Mosaic PUR ranges reportedly contain recycled material and are 100% recyclable via the Recofloor vinyl take-back scheme.
