Kährs to celebrate anniversary with launches at CDW 2017
KAHRS will celebrate its 160th anniversary during CDW 2017, with the launch of three new and what it describes as innovative wood flooring collections – Lux & Lumen and Gotaland.
Joining the event for the first time this year, Kährs will be ‘opening its doors’ to its new design studio on Albemarle Way, just off Clerkenwell Road.
Visitors will be welcomed to the gallery-style showroom, where they can view the new designs, meet Kährs’ interior design team and enjoy refreshments on the terrace, overlooking The Priory Church of the Order of St John.
Throughout CDW, Kährs’ Lux & Lumen and Gotaland designs will be showcased ‘on easel’.
The company says Lux & Lumen have the look and feel of untreated, newly sawn wood and the collections include 13 designs with a new ultra-matt finish.
Gotaland’s five new designs each combine lively oak with a dynamic ‘vintage’ finish.
Two resident companies – Casala office furniture and magnetic wallpaper specialist, MagScapes will also display new designs at Albemarle Way – in addition to Kährs’ brand partners, Earthborn and Nu-Heat, which will showcase décor styles and heating technology.
