Marble & Granite Centre supports Lapitec, Fila partnership

LAPITEC has formed a new collaboration with Fila in the UK. The partnership brings together the Lapitec and Fila brands and will include joint training and marketing initiatives.

Forthcoming events will include comprehensive training courses for approved Lapitec UK fabricators by The Marble & Granite Centre on the use of recommended Fila surface care solutions.

Founded in 1993 by Stephen Pike, The Marble & Granite Centre was established with the aim of ‘providing an innovative and flexible approach to the supply of natural stone products’.

The company reportedly draws from four generations of experience and is said to have a passion for customer satisfaction.

Along with claiming to provide the UK’s largest stock-holdings of marble, granite, limestone and slate, it’s the UK distributor for Lapitec, an international producer of the largest ‘full body’ sintered stone slabs in the world.

‘Drawing on FILA’s 70 years’ experience in the surface care sector – and its renowned quality standards - the new partnership brings together vast respective market knowledge and constant investment into product innovation,’ says the company. ‘It will enable both brands to further expand their research and development, technical consultancy and after-sales opportunities.’
