An ‘optimal choice’ with Optimise Timber

WITH 19dB of impact sound reduction and a collection of nine wood looks, Optimise Timber from the acoustic flooring collection by ITEC CONTRACT FLOORS, is a vinyl floor suitable for use in commercial environments.

In grey and natural wood looks, Itec says Optimise Timber can bring a welcoming and relaxing feel to a broad range of environments such as classrooms, offices, thoroughfares, dining areas and more. Optimise Timber is reportedly durable and easy to clean.

With Hyperguard+, the floor is claimed to be easy to maintain using normal methods and resist permanent marking and staining. The collection also receives Sanitec anti-bacterial treatment, reportedly making it suitable for healthcare and hygiene-sensitive locations. With R10 slip-restraint, it is said to be safe underfoot too.

“Our Optimise Timber collection is packed full of performance features that can make a real difference,” comments David Bigland, Itec’s UK md. “It’s a really versatile collection that, thanks to a Class 33 rating, can turn its hand to many different applications. In fact, Optimise Timber’s acoustic performance could be seen as something as a bonus on a floor that is a real all-rounder.”

Each wood effect, from bleached oak through to dark oak, can be installed with Itec Invisiweld. This chemical bonding method is claimed to leave a stronger, less-visible join that adds to the authenticity of the floor.

Available in a two-metre width and featuring a 0.70mm wear layer, Optimise Timber is made by Itec Contract Floors in Europe and is stocked in depth at distributors for fast delivery across the UK.
