Blueprint Interiors and modulyss
SEEKING a combination of looks and performance underfoot, Blueprint Interiors has turned to modulyss and its DSGN Tweed and Xtra Step carpet tiles for use in its latest prestigious project in Bury St Edmunds.
1,220sqm of DSGN Tweed and 140sqm of Xtra Step loop pile carpet tiles were selected for use by the design company which was tasked with product specification.
DSGN Tweed, crafted from 100% PA6 solution-dyed nylon, was specified in trending grey, while Xtra Step, produced in 100% PA6 Aqualon nylon, acted as a contrast with its green colourway taking centre stage.
Both fibres reportedly meet modulyss’ assured quality standards, meaning the new prestigious headquarters of a leading brand in the supply of animal feed, was gaining an aesthetic ‘that was set to stand the test of time’.
Kim Bloor, design manager, Blueprint Interiors, explains: ‘This project was a really exciting opportunity for us to demonstrate an element of creative flair, and we’ve certainly done that in our choice of flooring.
‘The versatility of the modulyss colour bank has allowed us to seamlessly create zones between walkways, break-out areas and the main office, with a combination of muted grey and lively green the order of the day.
‘We knew modulyss would meet our requirements having worked with them on a number of occasions in the past.
‘They can be relied upon for stunning looks, durability, acoustic credentials, sustainability and first-class service levels, and we’ll certainly be returning to the brand next time we require striking carpet tiles that allow us to take a scheme to the next level without compromising on performance.’
Both DSGN Tweed and Xtra Step carpet tiles comprise Back2Back modified bitumen backing, a staple inclusion across much of the modulyss product stable, while holding a Class 33 wear rating so suitable for use in various commercial locations.
