Bostik - Education
BOSTIK says it has a wealth of experience in supplying flooring preparation products and adhesives to professional flooring contractors working within the education sector. Its adhesives portfolio includes Bostik Roll, which is suitable for use in learning environments.
Bostik Roll is a solvent-free adhesive strip that has reportedly been specially designed for the fast installation of skirting, capping strips, cove formers and other floor or wall mounted accessories with no risk of plasticiser migration.
The adhesive roll is supplied ready-to-use, in widths of 25mm, 50mm or 85mm. As the adhesive is dry and solvent-free, there’s said to be no curing time required, meaning no waiting around and the area remains free from any overspill - making it suitable for use in schools.
It’s reportedly fully compatible with PVC coverings and under-floor heating with a temperature resistance of -40°C to +120°C. With an immediate, extra-strong grip and long-life bond, Bostik says, it's the ‘perfect’ alternative to water and solvent-based adhesives.
The adhesive roll reportedly achieves A+ and ECI Plus ratings with LEED and EN 13999:2007 for BREEAM, thanks to its low VOC emissions. This makes it an environmentally friendly choice, with less impact on the building’s occupants, says Bostik. As the rolls are stored in a cardboard box with a release paper that contains no nasty chemicals, disposal of the packaging is easy too.
Bostik Roll can be purchased from Bostik’s nationwide distribution partners in box quantities or as single units.
