Clerkenwell Design Week: Milliken
MILLIKEN says it creates a full range of beautiful and considered floor coverings providing a one-stop-shop for the latest in design-led flooring. Well-being is said to lie at the core of Milliken’s design ethos; reportedly creating flooring with superior acoustic performance and exceptional underfoot comfort.
For Milliken’s 10th CDW (since the event’s inception) Milliken will launch Comfortable Concrete 2.0 which uses the concrete aesthetic as its starting point but is said to move way beyond these origins with biophilic colours and forms inspired by the extremes of nature. Extensions of Milliken’s reportedly popular Clerkenwell and Colour Compositions will also be showcased. The company continues, saying there will be 3 days of ‘inspiring and informative well-being events in Milliken’s stunning Berry Street showroom’.
Events at Milliken’s Berry Street showroom will include discussions on well-being from leading proponents Neil Shah and Kate Cook. Kate Cook has reportedly been leading the wellness revolution for several years; she is a Harley Street nutritionist, international speaker and seven times author. Neil Shah is the founder and director of the Stress Management Society and a best-selling author. He regularly appears on television and radio interviews and is now the BBC’s featured expert on stress appearing on BBC Breakfast, BBC Five Live and others. There will also be drawing and writing workshops to facilitate relaxation and well-being.
