Lano launches Avenue
LANO has launched Avenue, a narrow-loom woven axminster concept suitable for use in hallways and stairs of high-end residential and commercial projects.
Available in 10 ‘striking modern designs’ from stock, including hexagons, houndstooth, chevron and crackled patterns; Avenue’s 67cm width makes the carpet suitable for use as stair and hallway runners.
‘Bringing a luxurious look in a quality 10-row woven axminster construction and crafted from a blend of 80% wool and 20% nylon, Avenue will endure high levels of footfall,’ says the company. ‘Suitable for domestic and heavy contract use, the carpet features a jute backing that makes installation on stairs easier.’
Including a ‘red carpet’ option (different width options available), stock patterns come in colourways of black and off-white or beige and red. Bespoke pattern and colours from Lano’s 16 standard shades, or common reference libraries (Pantone, RAL, NCS), are available from orders of 32 linear metres, reportedly making Avenue an easy accessible bespoke option.
‘Avenue is one of the first narrow-loom axminster carpets to be available from stock for fast delivery,’ explains Birger Karlsson, sales director UK.
‘Each bordered design has been made to bring a modern look to hallways and stairs and the construction will deliver in busy hotels, or in high-end homes looking for the best in luxurious wool hallway and stair carpet.
‘For interior designers looking for a custom hall or stair carpet, Avenue’s quality is second-to-none and with our bespoke service starting at just 32 linear metres, it really is incredibly accessible.’
As part of Lano’s Axminster Concept, any Avenue design is also available as broadloom from orders of 50sq m or more.
