PRO-TEK - offices (1)
PRO-TEK’s range of WPC engineered vinyl floors includes 40 wood and stone-effects, each with colour and décor matched accessories. Said to be suitable for offices, the ‘floor innovation’ has a reportedly waterproof construction, with built-in underlay. During installations, minimal subfloor preparation is said to be required, cutting commercial ‘down-time’, and an integral glueless joint reportedly gives a fast installation. Pro-Tek says boards lock together to create a durable and dimensionally stable surface that also has acoustic impact sound performance up to 24db.
The Pro-Tek WPC construction comprises six layers. The traditional LVT layers sit above a reportedly waterproof wood plastic composite or ‘WPC’ core. This middle core has an integral joint, which is said to lock the boards together without adhesive, and the bottom layer comprises an attached IXPE foam underlay base. The floor’s total thickness is between 7mm– 8.5mm – and all the materials used are said to be 100% recyclable and phthalate-free, for a healthy working environment.
Within the range, Pro-Tek WPC wood effects are divided into four collections - Excel, Essential, Distressed and Excel Long Plank – and Excel Tile includes eight marble, slate and travertine effects. The range also includes four-sided bevelled edges and reportedly 100% waterproof WPC vinyl-wrapped accessories, from doorway T-bars, to stair set tread and riser profiles.
All Pro-Tek WPC designs are third-party ISO accredited, the company says.
