Subfloors & screeds - Tilemaster Adhesives
TILEMASTER Adhesives’ range includes 11 self-levelling and smoothing compounds in formulations to reportedly suit all types of substrate, flooring material and project time-frames. All products are manufactured in Leyland, Lancashire and have been designed to help solve daily challenges faced by flooring contractors and tile fixers.
Many subfloors require a fast-drying self-levelling and smoothing compound that can be applied to substantial depths if needed. Tilemaster Adhesives says its range includes what it describes as highly versatile, water-based LevelFlex – a flexible, fibre-reinforced screed which can be poured up to 50mm in depth in one application.
LevelFlex is said to be suitable for various substrates, including underfloor heating and timber, while also being suitable for use as a wearing surface. Ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles can be laid after three hours and impervious floors, including LVT, after 24 hours.
Tilemaster Adhesives’ range also includes products developed for specific applications. Examples include AnhyLevel – a gypsum-based, flexible, self-levelling and smoothing compound developed for direct application to substrates such as anhydrite, hemihydrate and calcium sulphate screeds. Anhylevel is said to be suitable for use above underfloor heating systems, it can be applied from 2mm-20mm in a single application and is ready to receive light foot traffic after between two to three hours.
For tile fixing to AnhyLevel, Tilemaster Adhesives range includes AnhyFix – claimed to be a 100% compatible, gypsum-based, flexible tile adhesive suitable for installing ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles. Anhyfix is a rapid setting product, allowing light foot traffic and grouting to begin after three hours.
Tilemaster Adhesives products are offered alongside a comprehensive range of adhesives, preparation products, and colour-matched grouts and silicones.
