Tilemaster adhesives - Levelling compounds
TILEMASTER Adhesives’ range of smoothing underlayments reportedly includes various water and latex-based levellers for all types of substrate, material and time frames. All products are manufactured in Leyland, Lancashire and are designed to help solve challenges faced by flooring contractors and tilers.
For fast-track installations, ultra-rapid setting options include water-based Rapid Level 30 and latex-based Super Flow 30. Both products are said to feature advanced binder system technology and can be walked on in just 30 minutes. Ceramics can be installed on either smoothing compound within 45-60 minutes and decorative/resilient floor coverings after 90 minutes, Tilemaster says.
Other water-based options include FineFlow 3000 and LevelFlex, which each provide different properties. FineFlow 3000 is a ‘heavy duty’ compound Tilemaster says provides exceptional flow and smoothing properties. It can reportedly be applied from featheredge to 20mm in a single application and is said to be ready to receive foot traffic after three hours. LevelFlex is a fibre-reinforced option, so can reportedly be poured to greater depths of up to 50mm in one application. Both compounds can be tiled after three hours and impervious floor finishes can be laid after 24 hours, Tilemaster says.
Latex-based options with a slower cure time include Pro Flow and Trade Flow. Pro Flow is a moisture tolerant screed which reportedly provides superior adhesion properties without priming most substrates. Tilemaster says it can be walked on after 90 minutes, and decorative floor coverings and ceramic tiles can be installed after 3-4 hours. Multi-purpose Trade Flow is also said to be moisture tolerant and offers excellent flow properties; it can be walked on two hours after application and floorcoverings can be laid after 12 hours.
