BICSc was founded in 1961 and it is the largest independent, professional and educational body of the UK cleaning industry. The institutes mission is to raise standards within the industry through training and education. The institute comprises of over 4,000 individual and over 600 corporate members and is also an awarding body for its internationally recognised workplace-based qualifications.
