Best use of flooring in a Factory

Sherwin Williams and Davidsons Industrial Marine Flooring Division

Over six days, Sherwin Williams laid the floors for LFH Engineering at Ellon in Aberdeenshire. The shortened time period, with long periods of application meant there was a minimum disruption and odour for the workforce and a smooth handover of the flooring areas during key stages. The finished application meant a smooth running of LFH’s daily workforce and machinery for production.

F. Ball and Co. Ltd. and Contract Flooring

Products from F. Ball were used as part of a high-speed rail installation by contractors from Contract Flooring in Cornwall. Following the creation of a strong, resilient base, the company’s Styccobond F46 solvent-free, pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive was used to install vinyl safety flooring over an area of 400 metres squared at the new Great Western Railway train depot in Penzance, creating a durable and safe result in four-months.

Flowcrete and Integrated Flooring Technologies

Flowcrete UK has worked alongside the international spirits group Edrington and the architectural practice to provide floor finishes for a new, £140m distillery that will be producing the renowned single-malt whisky brand, The Macallan. The building marks a revolution in distillery design, merging The Macallan’s centuries-old traditions with cutting-edge architecture, and 25 floorlayers were used over a period of 13 months.
