Spanish City pleasure dome, a Grade II listed building which has been completely transformed and restored in 2018. It features an incredibly domed ceiling in a rotunda, with a large open space and a circular balcony plus three restaurant areas elsewhere in the building – all fitted with Junckers’ Black Oak floor.

Newards and Polyflor

All the flooring works to the 4,200sq m space known as The Flower Bowl were done by Newards, which installed JHS Tretford acoustic cord to the walls – no mean feat, which required the employees to operate off scaffolding at 8m high to install the cord, in a pitch-black cinema room with only task lighting.

Uzin and Architectural Flooring Specialists

A Uzin system was used to install the ‘herringbone’ wood floor with the new Sainsbury Gallery at the V&A. The Sainsbury Gallery opened as part of the V&A Exhibition Road Quarter. The expansion created a beautiful, unique space for London and a world-class gallery space for the V&A’s internationally acclaimed exhibition programme.
