Best use of flooring in an Office

Medifloor and Forbo Flooring Systems

To eliminate the need for lowering the raised-access floor, Medifloor mounted the transition profiles direct to the raised-access panels using templates to create accurate consistent curves at all corners. Lino was installed to the large T-point area and clad vertically around all columns with welded vertical corners 3m in height. Flotex Grass was used for the conference room with Ted Todd timber used to create tiered seating with access hatches.

Aizlewoods Flooring Specialists and Interface, Karndean Designflooring and Tarkett

The fitout required three different flooring types to be supplied and fitted by Aizlewoods to an extremely tight deadline and the fitters pulled it together on time. There were added complications to its requirements which involved them laying the floor on a specific angle and laying hexagonal tiles in the middle of carpet tiles. Given these aspects were the bedrock of our design it was vital Aizlewoods got this right, and it was spot on.

Woodpecker Flooring and OEG Interiors

New Woodpecker Flooring offices and showroom are situated only 500 yards from the distribution centre and previous offices in Caerphilly, South Wales, and come complete with naturally inspired features, a real wood treehouse and even a slide. The once empty shell of a warehouse has been completely transformed owing to a £2m investment and beautiful design from fit-out company, OEG.

Tarkett and Dale Office Interiors

‘It was a great experience collaborating with Tarkett on the space and we are thrilled with the final result,’ said Kirsty Atkin-Stephenson, interior designer and end-user. There were no issues with the installation, other than having to cut around some wooden slats in the breakout area, ‘The Mix’.

Interface and Bramhall Flooring

Bridge Architects chose to use Interface’s World Woven collection throughout 111 Piccadilly. It’s a range that puts a modern twist on timeless classics such as Scottish tweed, to help create spaces with a sense of heritage. Linear Tweed helps create definition and direction, while various colourways have been used to distinguish each of the individual spaces and create patterns akin to a classic pinstripe suit.
