Clerkenwell Design Week: Interface

LEARNING how to Love Carbon is one of the four pillars of Interface’s Climate Take Back mission; this view of carbon as a resource, rather than an enemy will be front and centre of the company’s showroom activity during this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week.

Said to embody its commitment to Love Carbon, all the products that will be on display across the Interface showroom; from carpet tile, to luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and nora rubber flooring, are said to carbon neutral across the entire product lifecycle. These will include Interface’s latest Ice Breaker collection which reportedly mimics the effect of cracked ice to create simple, nature inspired workplaces and works with both LVT and rubber flooring to create a variety of spaces.

Interface says it’s putting a firm focus on giving visitors a hands-on experience throughout the event, offering them the opportunity to see, touch and feel products, understand more about their installation and the role they play in creating a more sustainable planet.

A series of afternoon and evening talks and panel discussions will cover issues including designing with climate in mind and how to use biophilic design to create positive spaces for communities, Interface concludes.
