2021 Specifier's Guide to Flooring launched

Kick-Start Publishing has launched the 2021 version of its much-vaunted Specifier’s Guide to Flooring.

The first version of the guide was initially launched in May 2018 during Clerkenwell Design Week by Kick-Start Publishing, publisher of CFJ and the Tile & Stone Journal.

This annual publication, in conjunction with its sister title, Specifier’s Guide to Tiling, is aimed at architects and specifiers and includes contributions from most major players in flooring on every subject imaginable, from adhesives to LVT, linoleum and wood flooring.

The original idea to expand on the success of The Specifier’s Guide to Tiling was a natural one – if there’s a need for expert manufacturer knowledge in one sector of flooring, then it follows that there’s bound to be the same need across industry.

Manufacturers have responded enthusiastically to the guide; it’s no secret they want their premium designs, installations and products to reach the attention of architects and specifiers, and inclusion in the guide is the best way for them to do so.

At a time when uncertainty caused by Covid-19 is many nervous about our future economic prospects, the flooring sector will show, via The Specifier’s Guide, that innovation and technical mastery is keeping it well ahead of the game.

Architects and specifiers will find the guide to be the richest source of knowledge with respect to flooring. No subject is ignored, and everything included is covered at great depth, illustrated by show-stopping images, graphics and drawings.

'Once again, Kick-Start, CFJ and The Specifier's Guide to Flooring have defied the odds,' said John Heath, ceo of Kick-Start Publishing. 'Here we are facing one of the most devastating health and economic global crises in a century, and we've managed to bring you - our faithful readers - the goods. I know everybody who reads this year's guide will find it informative, and I congratulate the Kick-Start team on a brilliant result in what were incredibly trying circumstances.'

This truly will be the must-have catalogue for anyone interested in installations. But don’t take our word for it: click here to read more:
