UK manufacturer of subfloor preparation products and adhesives for floorcoverings, F Ball and Co has appointed Kees-Jan van Eeren as technical support advisor for The Netherlands.
In his new role, Kees-Jan will provide expert technical advice, training, and onsite assistance to flooring contractors, wholesalers, and retailers in The Netherlands to enable them to get the most out of F Ball products. This will include producing case-specific reports advising on the best course of action for particular flooring installations.
Kees-Jan has been involved in flooring since he was a child, when his father, also a flooring contractor, taught him the basics of subfloor preparation and flooring installation. He later spent 14 years in the Netherlands Marine Corp, during which time he was deployed on various missions worldwide, before starting his own flooring business. He’s been a flooring contractor for the past 10 years.
Commenting on his appointment, Kees-Jan said: ‘I’m really excited about the chance to use my knowledge and experience to inspire flooring professionals, in particular instilling fitters a sense of pride in their work, and help them to achieve better results using F Ball products. I used them exclusively in my previous role, and I’ve always been impressed by how well thought out the range is and how their quality and user-friendliness makes tasks easier and more efficient.’

A family man, Kees-Jan has two children, a daughter (17) and a son (15). In his spare time he enjoys hiking, swimming, and football.
