Kelmore, a manufacturer of preparation products for the flooring and tiling industries, has been named New Business Award Winner at the prestigious Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) 2025, organised by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
The glittering awards ceremony took place on Friday 19 September at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom, where over 1,000 business leaders from across Lancashire gathered to celebrate the very best of business in the region.
The award highlighted new businesses in the county with the aim of recognising those that demonstrate strong leadership, impressive growth and performance beyond expectations.
Kelmore were named finalists following a rigorous judging process featuring interviews and a site visit. Judges were looking for evidence of achievement of initial business objectives, strong early-stage growth and momentum, financial sustainability and sound planning, innovation and resilience.
“Winning this award is an incredibly proud moment for me and the entire Kelmore team.” said Mark Kelly, Founder and Managing Director at Kelmore.
“We have achieved so much as such a young company. We are often asked what we attribute our success to and there are many elements that have got us to where we are today. However, the true reason for our success, is our people. We’re fortunate to have a hardworking, dedicated and caring team, and I accepted the award with immense pride on behalf of the whole Kelmore team on the night.”
The win marks an important milestone for Kelmore, which is focused on sustainable growth over the next few years whilst continuing to raise their profile in the market.
The BIBAs are one of the biggest business awards in Lancashire, organised by the North and Western Chamber of Commerce. The awards celebrate the county’s most ambitious, innovative and successful companies across a wide range of sectors.
This latest accolade is Kelmore’s third award win in 2025 after they were named Manufacturing Start-Up Award winners at both the Made in the North West Awards and the National Made in the UK Awards in May and June.
