Southern Area Sales/Account Manager

Playrite, a leading UK manufacturer of sports surfaces based in West Yorkshire, is expanding! With our increased production capacity, we’re looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Southern Area Sales/Account Manager. This role is pivotal as we grow our market presence, and we need someone located south of Leicester, ideally north of the M25, covering from Devon to Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Access current projects through consultants, architects, end-user clients, and other means.
  • Sales & Quotations: Provide quotations for Playrite products and negotiate prices.
  • Customer Relations: Cultivate and maintain good relations with customers and potential clients.
  • Product Support: Advise on Playrite surfaces for various projects, supporting architects, sports contractors, and clubs.
  • Market Expansion: Establish, maintain, and expand your customer base.
  • Competitor Awareness: Keep up to date with our products and competitors.
  • Strategic Development: Develop new sales strategies in consultation with the Sales Director.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with national sales colleagues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Presentation & Negotiation: Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Tech Savvy: Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Adaptable: Resilient, flexible, and willing to travel and stay away when required.

REGIONAL MANAGERS – FULL TIME

Role:
We’re looking to recruit an experienced individual to build and lead a new regional business unit and become an integral part of our senior management team and ambassador for Crown.

Expertise in flooring and/or maintenance & refurbishment is essential. Whilst you will benefit from central support, you will be expected to quickly develop your own customer base to add to existing clients in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong network in their region and be able to recruit local tradesmen to join our business (we have an employed model) and build up a team of consultant surveyors and project managers to scale up the new regional office.

Candidate:

  • SMSTS, NVQ level 4 (min), IOSH preferred

UK TECHNICAL SUPPORT MANAGER

Join the Forbo Flooring Systems team!

As Forbo’s UK Technical Support Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the UK sales strategy through proactive Technical Services Team support and providing technical specification support, specifically with regard to product, installation and maintenance, as well as pro-active support and on-site technical visits.

You will help to build long-term relationships with key individuals and organisations in the flooring industry, facilitating the creation of up-to-date, relevant technical data and information to support Forbo’s portfolio of products.

The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate extensive technical product, installation and aftercare experience within the floor covering industry, have both technical and commercial talent with the knowledge of how to combine those skills to support Company objectives, resolve technical problems and settle customer disputes. With a competitive salary, the position is predominantly based in the UK but may also require some European travel.
