Sales Manager
As a Sales Manager, your mission is simple: drive sales, build relationships, and exceed targets. You will manage an existing portfolio of clients while identifying new business opportunities to expand our reach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing flooring supply customers.
- Hit & exceed monthly Sales Targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the flooring industry.
- Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
- Arrange flooring samples for customers to assist in product selection.
- Produce CAD plans, estimates / quote’s.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
- Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless order fulfilment and client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales performance, and account status using CRM software.
What You Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in sales & estimating.
- A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation & closing skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
- A natural communicator – confident, personable, and persuasive.
- Excellent maths skills to handle pricing, estimates, and margins.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Word, and Excel.
- A self-starter mindset – driven, adaptable, and ready to take initiative.

Commercial Area Sales Representative – Cork Wall & Flooring
Region: Scotland / North West / North East/ Midlands / Wales
Employment Type: Self-employed – Monthly Retainer plus commission structure
ROLE OVERVIEW:
You will play a key role in promoting and selling our cork flooring and wall products to architects, designers, contractors, and end customers. You will be responsible for developing relationships, generating sales, and driving growth in your assigned territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote and sell our cork flooring and wall products to potential clients in the designated region.
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the construction, interior design, and renovation sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the benefits and features of cork products.
- Collaborate with the marketing and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth sales operations.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide regular updates and feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Manage a pipeline of leads and prospects, and ensure timely follow-ups and conversions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within the building materials, flooring, or interior design industry.
- Strong knowledge of cork products or a willingness to quickly learn and understand the product range.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Previous experience with B2B sales or working with architects, designers, or contractors is a plus.
