F Ball focuses on adhesives at Harrogate

F BALL and Co used this year’s Flooring Show to reinforce what it describes as the high performance and reliability of its iconic yellow bucket adhesives.

The adhesives theme centres around its ‘Quality worth banging on about’ advertising campaign, highlighting the work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure flooring professionals can rely on the performance and quality of its Styccobond adhesives range.

This includes research and development to create the next generation of flooring adhesives, as well as testing compatibility to provide more than 6,000 adhesive recommendations for floorcoverings produced by over 200 manufacturers in the company’s industry–leading Recommended Adhesives Guide (RAG).

F Ball’s adhesives range includes ‘products for practically every type of decorative floorcovering, as well as formulations for specialist applications, such as high–temperature and heavy–duty environments.

‘This is backed by industry–leading support for flooring professionals, including advice over the phone from its technical service department on subfloor preparation and floorcovering installation and on–site assistance provided by its network of regional technical representatives.’

Commenting on the company’s exhibition, F Ball sales director Karl Brannigan said: ‘We’re well known for being the UK’s leading manufacturer of adhesives for floorcoverings, with an emphasis on quality, innovation and reliability, but it’s something we don’t always shout about.

‘This goes particularly for the expertise involved in ensuring we constantly push the boundaries of flooring adhesives technology and they perform as intended, as well as the support we offer to help get the most out of them. We were excited to be back, seeing familiar faces as well as meeting others for the first time.’

Visitors to the F Ball stand at The Flooring Show were able to watch live demonstrations of its Styccobond adhesives and subfloor preparation products, including the latest addition to its range of smoothing compounds, Stopgap 1400, delivered by the company’s training department on the stand’s live demonstration area.

Representatives from the F Ball marketing, sales and liaison teams were on hand throughout the exhibition to answer questions visitors had about F Ball’s products and technical support, including free training courses delivered at the F Ball Centre of Excellence in Staffordshire.

Contractors attending the show also found out how to become members of the Ball Rewards loyalty programme, which entitled them to claim cashback each time they purchased F Ball products, as well as a range of exclusive benefits, such as the opportunity to enter regular competitions and earn extra cashback on promotional products.

Delegates were invited to attend F Ball’s popular drinks reception at the F Ball stand on the Monday afternoon of the show.
