Developed for the contract and landscape markets, LTP’s specialist ECOPROTEC® range includes sustainable surface care products for all types of natural and engineered stone, in internal and external settings.  All treatments are made in the UK and benefit from the most advanced research in water-based technology – combining high performance with low odour and low VOC formulations.

To protect tiles and stone laid indoors, as part of autumn and winter projects, the range includes two water-based impregnating sealers, a water-based wax treatment and a grout protector.

Each of the four solutions provides protection from stains and strongly repels water, oil and grease, making ongoing maintenance easier.  The impregnating sealers include ECOPROTEC Natural Finish Stone Sealer which creates minimal change to the surface character and ECOPROTEC Colour Enhancing Stone Sealer, which enhances natural colour and tonal depth. Both can be used on all types of natural stone. The third treatment – ECOPROTEC Satin Finish Surface Wax – creates a soft, subtle sheen on honed, riven and tumbled stone.

The fourth treatment, ECOPROTEC Wall & Floor Grout Protector, is a non-film forming protective barrier treatment that protects grout between ceramic and porcelain tiles.

Being water-based, all four treatments are non-film forming and allow surfaces to breathe.  They also provide the raft of benefits associated with a water-based formulation.  These include low VOC, low odour and UV resistance.  They can also be applied over residual moisture, speeding application times, and typically provide 10-20% extra coverage compared to a spirit-based product.
