FORBO’S REFRESHED ETERNAL DE LUXE RANGE: A REFINED BALANCE OF DESIGN AND FUNCTION
The Eternal de Luxe collection sets a new standard in design, quality and sustainability, with over 50% natural raw materials, a recycled content of 18% and adhesive free installation up to 40m2. Thanks to advanced in-register embossing techniques and refined natural patterns, it offers a realistic, contemporary and durable flooring solution for a variety of busy interior environments, including student accommodation, hotels and the residential sector while delivering 17 dB impact sound reduction performance. Every detail has been developed to deliver lasting quality, visual authenticity and environmental responsibility, creating a floor that performs.
Recognising the need for on-trend designs, Forbo has refreshed this collection, streamlining the existing offering to reflect modern interior choices, as well as the addition of 11 brand new colourways. As part of this update, there is an increased emphasis on warmer tones, with classic wood and material aesthetics able to be easily combined. With next-generation embossing that follows the grain in two directions, creating remarkable depth and natural texture, the result is an authentic look of real wood.
Donna Hannaway, Head of Marketing UK and Ireland from Forbo Flooring Systems, commented on the updated range, saying: “Delivering fresh, contemporary designs that reflect our customers’ needs is essential to us as a business. That’s why we’ve revitalised our Eternal de Luxe range, introducing a selection of new colourways and patterns, along with advanced in-register embossing techniques that elevate the authentic look and feel of the wood effects. For example, the new timber aesthetics feature a narrower, more modern 16.6cm plank format, while the new matte embossing on stone items further enhances the natural, realistic appearance of the floor coverings.
“In addition to this, the refreshed range delivers on sustainability too, with one of our key pillars being reuse and recycle, the collection has 50% natural raw materials and 18% recycled content.”
In addition to its strong design credentials, Eternal de Luxe is also the responsible choice, being made from over 50% natural raw materials, containing 18% recycled content and 100% phthalate-free. Available in two and four metre widths for seamless installations, the range can also be fitted adhesive free up to 40m2, making it fully recyclable at the end of its life, further contributing to the creation of more circular spaces. The range is also produced in a factory running off of 100% renewable electricity.
Offering exceptional durability, minimal residual indentation performance for an acoustic solution and coming with an advanced PUR top lacquer, that protects against scuffs, scratches and daily wear, Eternal de Luxe is built to last – perfect for busy spaces.
