KEMTILE has welcomed back Jay Livingstone as sales and business development manager, to help drive sales in Scotland and northern England.

Kemtile describes itself as one of the UK’s leading specifiers and installers of industrial hygienic flooring, with more than 40 years of trading experience in the UK, specialising in single source hygienic flooring and wall solutions.

It says it offers a full turnkey service from groundworks to finish, including drainage systems, kerbs, guardrails, and wall protection products, to suit various manufacturing environments with a focus on longevity, quality and compliance.

Jay has enjoyed a 25-year career in sales and worked across pretty much all aspects of flooring from installations, contracting, estimating, project management, national business development and more.

He commented: ‘There’s not much I’ve not seen and experienced. Having worked for the company before, I know I’ll be back working with a team of highly skilled flooring specialists with an excellent reputation. I’ve jumped at the chance to get back involved with former colleagues and friends.’

He is said to bring a wide range of contacts into the role and is looking forward to meeting new people and responding to fresh challenges. He added: ‘I believe respect in life is earned through hard work.’

The company says he joins Kemtile at an exciting time for the business with ambitious growth targets – now part of the international Stonhard Group – ‘still led by the vastly experienced Jamie Cook’.
