THE annual Kidderminster Carpet Manufacturers’ charity golf tournament has raised £20,000, organisers have confirmed, a 16% increase on last year’s total.

Organiser Mike Dobson said the bumper result will mean larger donations for the event’s chosen causes, Macmillan Cancer Support and several charities local to the Kidderminster area.

The two-day event saw Instarmac take the honours in the Tuesday tournament, while Altro emerged as winner on day two.

Looking ahead, next year’s tournament will shift slightly in the calendar to avoid clashing with Clerkenwell Design Week.

The 2026 event is set for 2-3 June at Kidderminster golf club, with entry forms due out at the start of the year.

On behalf of the organising committee, Mike thanked supporters for their backing in 2025 and said they’re hoping for an even bigger turnout next year.
