TS Flooring has announced its sadness as the death of Tim Sherwood, who it described as a highly respected, much-loved figure in the flooring industry.

Tim dedicated his 48-year career to the trade, starting in 1969 with Gradus Accessories. There he spent 14 years developing his sales skills, and in 1983 he joined GAAS Flooring Distributors as sales director, where he continued to serve the industry with unwavering passion and professionalism for a further 20 years.

He later joined STS Flooring Distributors, where he remained a respected and valued member of the team until his retirement.

‘Tim was one of the most inspiring individuals we’ve ever had the privilege of working with,’ said Ray Colgate, managing director of STS Flooring Distributors. ‘He was a true gentleman, deeply respected by colleagues, customers, and competitors alike. Known for his integrity, warmth, and distinctive character, he leaves behind a legacy that will not be forgotten. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.’
