KICK-START Publishing, which publishes CFJ, is delighted to announce Cathie Clarke, CEO of UKSFA, will judge the 2026 Sustainability Initiative Award which will come from the installation finalists selected by the judging panel.
Cathie joined UKSFA on 1 July 2024 as its new CEO. She has a track record running membership and trade organisations in the construction industry. Prior to joining UKSFA, Cathie took the opportunity to fulfil a long-held ambition to renovate first a ‘20s station masters house, then a ‘70s terrace – putting in to practice all the things she’d learned in the construction and heritage building industry.
Prior to this, Cathie served as CEO of the Single Ply Roofing Association having spent over a decade working to support the heritage built environment, creating and managing the Heritage Skills HUB (a Community Interest Company) and culminating in her role as general manager of the National Heritage Training Group. Cathie’s early career was spent as a petrophysicist, having completed a mining and applied geology degree at Leicester University. In her free time, Cathie loves to walk, ride the occasional horse and look after her garden.
