‘HARROGATE marked our second appearance at the Flooring Show, and for us it was a clear step forward,’ says Tim Bates, international account manager at VEEUZE. ‘What impressed us most this year was how many visitors already recognised VEEUZE and our solutions. For a company still new to the UK market, this awareness felt both encouraging and significant.’
Adds Tim: ‘From the first day, our stand was busy with conversations – not just with flooring manufacturers, but also with retailers, distributors and interior designers. The interest in product visualisation was stronger than expected, and the discussions gave us valuable insights into the needs of the UK market.
‘These will help us to adapt even more closely to local requirements and strengthen our relevance here.’
Tim continues: ‘A real highlight was presenting the new generation of our visualiser. Visitors saw how customers can upload photos of their own rooms and immediately test flooring, wallcoverings and upholstery in a photorealistic way. The feedback was enthusiastic. Many pointed out how such a tool could reduce returns, accelerate sales decisions and increase customer confidence.
‘We also received useful suggestions and creative ideas for further development – exactly the kind of dialogue that makes events like Harrogate so valuable. For us, the show was not only about technology but also about relationships. We reconnected with familiar partners and made new contacts that hold strong business potential. The mix of continuity and fresh opportunities made Harrogate a real success.’
Concludes Tim: ‘Looking ahead, we are already preparing for the next event in southern England – and after this positive experience, we wouldn’t miss it.’
