FLEX Pro Pure is the improved self-adhesive underlay from Unilin Flooring that makes it fast and easy to install Moduleo dryback luxury vinyl floors, says the company.

‘For largescale projects, such as BTR, private housing developments, student accommodation and more, speeding up floorcovering installation provides significant time and cost-saving benefits.

However, with Unilin Flooring’s improved Flex Pro Pure self-adhesive underlay, flooring contractors can achieve a high quality installation while reducing subfloor finishing (the underlay can accommodate irregularities of no more than +/-3mm) and completely eliminating adhesives, says the company.

‘Flex Pro Pure saves the cost of flooring adhesives and subfloor finishing and is twice as fast as conventional dryback installation methods.

‘For installations using more complex plank or tile arrangements, such as herringbone or the multi-shape tiles of Moduleo’s Moods collection, Flex Pro Pure also allows for easy corrections with pieces simply lifted and repositioned. This is also advantageous if areas become damaged as planks or tiles can be quickly and easily replaced without disruption.

‘One of the biggest benefits of using Flex Pro Pure is in the ability of the underlay to allow for easy removal of the floor at end-of-life. Pieces can be quickly lifted from the underlay, the underlay removed and new Flex Pro Pure laid down.

‘This method is also more favourable than traditional dryback installation as it produces a cleaner flooring removal that’s easier to downcycle into street furniture through Unilin Flooring’s UK-based Recover programme.’
