ENGINEERED to provide a fully compatible system to the flooring sector, Tremco’s high performance flooring adhesives allow for the application of a range of coverings, across various areas, says the company.
Delivering a solution for the most complex installations, the adhesive range is described to measure up to specific requirements, including low-VOC, non-allergenic qualities, and flexibility.
The adhesives are formulated to work with the damp proof membranes and smoothing compounds that are also available from Tremco, providing UK contractors and the distribution market with fully compatible systems, adds the company.
Tremco’s adhesive solutions
The choice of adhesive is dictated by the type of floorcovering. Some of the products in the Tremco adhesives range include:
- SF105 – High performance acrylic adhesive
A thixotropic water-borne floorcovering adhesive, SF105 has been specially developed for linoleum and vinyl floorcoverings, particularly the highly plasticised types. Approved for use with practically all vinyl (PVC) and linoleum floorcoverings, this adhesive has excellent grab characteristics and high achievable coverage rates, says the company.

- SF108 – Pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive
A pressure sensitive adhesive for rubber and vinyl floor and wall coverings, SF108 is said to be compatible with a wide range of vinyls, including the highly plasticised types. Tremco says it achieves amazing coverage rates of up to 110sq m of coverage per 15L bucket when bonding PVC and smooth backed rubber floorcoverings.

- SF110 – Carpet adhesive
An acrylic-based multi-purpose carpet adhesive, SF110 is suitable for bonding a wide range of carpets and designed to deliver long-lasting adhesion, making it the perfect solution for quick installations, says Tremco.
Features include: - Good initial grab
- Long open time and workability of approximately 20-40 mins
- Suitable for bonding a wide range of carpets
- Clean to use and non-staining
