Kiley’s Karpets recommends Moduleo LayRed

FOR nearly a decade, St Leonards-on-Sea based Kiley’s Karpets says it’s enjoyed the quality and value that comes with Moduleo luxury vinyl flooring.

Established in 1992 and with 10 full-time staff and two apprentices, Kiley’s Karpets is a busy, successful flooring retailer and contractor operating from St Leonards-on-Sea, on the southeast coast.

From its 200sq m showroom, the company supplies and fits carpets, vinyl, wood and laminate flooring in the region’s newbuild homes, businesses, schools and hospitals, as well as domestic installations for residents in and around the seaside town.

For the past nine years, Kiley’s Karpets has worked with Moduleo to supply homes and business with what it describes as its high-quality luxury vinyl flooring.

‘From the original Transform, Select and Impress ranges to the latest Roots collection, Kileys Karpets has seen the growth and expansion of Moduleo and is now home to the latest iteration of its LayRed engineered vinyl flooring.’

Aaron Barber, manager at Kiley’s Karpets, says: ‘We’ve been with Moduleo for the past eight or nine years and have always favoured its quality and value. Whether we’re fitting out newbuild homes or helping a local homeowner find their dream floor, Moduleo is always a brand we recommend if they’re thinking about luxury vinyl. The Roots collection offers customers unique designs they can’t find elsewhere and shows how Moduleo is at the forefront of good flooring design.

‘We’ve recently taken on the new LayRed collection and I have to say it’s impressive. The new designs are just right for today’s homes and are incredibly authentic.

‘Our customers are always surprised they aren’t really wood or stone, so that says a lot. What’s more, our fitters love the simple installation and because we don’t need to prepare the subfloor so carefully, it helps cut down on the time and cost of installation. Customers are often worried about how much extra fitting will cost them, so it’s great to be able to offer a solution with a floor that’s waterproof and tougher than ever.’

Says Moduleo: ‘Owing to the addition of Hydroseal and the precise fit of its Uniclic joint, LayRed’s 100% waterproof construction makes it the ideal floor for high humidity areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. Its Protecotnite Plus coating reduces upkeep because of improved scratch resistance and makes Moduleo LayRed easy to live with in hallways, lounges, dining rooms and open plan spaces.

‘Across the collection there’s a range of wood and tile effects to choose from. New highlights in wood include the richly grained Stanford Oak and Dingle Oak, and the refined Haarlemmer Oak and Wistman Oak.

‘Tiles and stones too offer something new with the contemporary look of Silky Satin in trending terracotta and warm cream, alongside the concrete of Izusa, Montecelio’s travertine stone, and Balzano terrazzo.’

Aaron concludes: ‘LayRed continues to deliver the quality and value we’ve come to expect from Moduleo and we’re only too happy to recommend it to our customers.

‘With the new matching accessories made from the very same LayRed flooring, we’ve also been able to ensure a first-class fit that looks really premium – it just looks a cut above finishing a job off with metal or coloured profiles. It’s details like this that make a real difference to any installation.’
