CARL Nicol, founder of Westcotes Flooring and winner of the 2023 CFJ Lifetime Achievement Award, will retire from the flooring industry on 5 January 2026, ending a remarkable career.

‘The flooring industry has provided me good and bad memories and from nothing to a fantastic lifestyle over this time,’ says Carl.

A larger-than-life personality, he led Westcotes Flooring to many installation successes. Shortlisted for Lifetime Achievement in 2022, he went on to win the accolade in 2023.
