BAL says it has several levelling solutions for any application. BAL Level Fast is BAL’s newest self-smoothing floor levelling compound. Described as a fast-track solution, it can be tiled on in 45 minutes at any bed depths from 3mm to 30mm.
Says BAL: ‘Unlike some other rapid-setting products, BAL Level Fast offers a 10 minute ‘wet edge’ – which allows for smoothing between different pours. Formulated with Fibre Strand Technology (FST) for extra strength and flexibility, it has excellent flow and is self-smoothing and self-healing.’
The company continues: ‘BAL Level Max is a high performance, all-rounder that can be used from 3mm to 80mm bed depth in one application. What’s more, it can be tiled on in only four hours at any bed depth.’
BAL says Level Max can be used over tongue-and-groove floorboards or plywood at only 3mm – unlike similar levelling compounds which must be used at 10mm minimum. Also formulated with FST, BAL Level Max gives users a 20 minute wet edge, and is pumpable – making it suitable for large commercial floors.
For external levelling, BAL Acrybase is a two-part leveller, particularly recommended for heavily-trafficked areas. It can be laid at bed depths from a feather edge up to 10mmm and from 10mm to 20mm with the addition of 3mm granite chippings.
