The Independent Flooring Group is a new network of 15 flooring distributors with branches throughout the United Kingdom. They are all independently owned and managed by people who know our industry and care about you and your business.

The group aims to provide a modern, more digital approach to distribution. We also have a particular focus on the greener, more sustainable products that will have an increasing role in the circular economy of the future. At Harrogate, our focus will be on the new UP! Range of carpet underlays made from PCPU – post consumer recovered and upcycled PU foam. These underlays are made from foam recovered from recycled mattresses and sofas collected by eco-friendly retailers when they deliver a new product to their customers.
The Independent Flooring Group uniquely offer their own branded Floorgear Underlay and Accessories products which have been selected for quality, technical performance, and value for money by people who understand the products they are selecting. Our range includes Floorgear Underlays, True Grip Adhesives and carpet gripper, superior metal profiles, TrueFlow screeds and, of course, the brand new range of UP! Underlays.
The UP! Underlay range includes 8 and 10mm versions of a unique new underlay structure. A smaller particulate foam component creates a new dimension in underlay compression and response – a ‘mattress effect’ for lie on the floor comfort! The Floorgear
