Flooring Projects introduces luxury vinyl flooring retail offering

‘BROUGHT to you from the people behind commercial flooring giants, Nationwide Flooring – the northwest’s No 1 luxury vinyl flooring (LVF/LVT) specialists, Flooring Projects, has officially opened its showroom doors with the launch of an expansive range of luxury vinyl flooring – the largest in the region,’ says the company.

The specialty retailer of hard-surface flooring now occupies a 2,000sq ft warehouse store and showroom-style design centre in Trafford Park, a stone’s throw from the Trafford Centre. ‘Owing to the quality, longevity, and maintenance-free perks of the durable flooring, it’s become increasingly popular with a growing market demand,’ says the company.
In fact, the global luxury vinyl tiles flooring market size was estimated at USD21.02bn in 2019, expected to reach USD23.13bn in 2020, and projected to grow at a CAGR of 10.58% reaching USD38.45bn by 2025.

Simon Norris, founder and ceo of Flooring Projects commented: ‘We’re delighted to finally bring our Flooring Projects showroom to market and are eager to introduce professional customers, as well as homeowners to our complete 360deg project service excellence for all flooring needs, including design, supply and installation.

‘Our extensive collection of trend-right flooring options enable us to complete the transformation journey for our customers and fulfil their dream project.

‘Many people aren’t fully aware of the benefits that luxury vinyl flooring provides but demand for the durable product is on the up. Our customers can achieve an authentic feel of hardwood, stone or ceramic flooring but with a much more hardwearing, water-resistant material with luxury vinyl flooring.’

It’s been reported the increasing focus on the development of residential buildings and the growing demand for advanced healthcare facilities worldwide is anticipated to boost the product’s demand during the forecast period.

Commercial flooring specialists, Nationwide – which now brings to market Flooring Projects – has more than two decades of experience in the sector and has provided flooring solutions for a host of blue-chip clients, including healthcare facilities. Clients reportedly include the NHS, Costa Coffee, Victoria’s Secrets, Greggs, Wren Kitchens, Footasylum, and Next, plus more.

Simon went on to say: ‘We’ve found the market for luxury vinyl flooring has seen a surge in popularity now that more people are gleaning the benefits of utilising the material and what it can provide.

‘Flooring is often treated as an after-thought when it comes to kitchen renovations or moving into a new home, which can subsequently leave customers regretting their flooring decision. However, investing from the outset and including it within the wider vision really is crucial. Doing so avoids hefty re-investment later down the line, plus with LVF customers can gain their desirable look, longevity and add value to their home.

‘Lockdown has also forced people to look at their homes differently – be that to make changes or to give their home office a much needed makeover – and luxury vinyl flooring is the perfect fit. It’s affordable luxury but with enhanced quality and durability for a low maintenance approach but not at the cost of the aesthetics.

‘Our standard products come with a minimum 20 year warranty with others providing lifetime warranties, hence most of our flooring options can last for life!’

Flooring Projects offers its own branded ranges as well as working with luxury vinyl flooring designers including Karndean, Polyflor, Gerflor, Moduleo, Amtico, and more, all of which can be viewed at the Flooring Projects Showroom, now open at 4 Guinness Road, Trafford Park, Manchester M17 1SD.

‘Complimentary home or workplace surveys and no obligation quotes are available, or customers can order a sample to help understand how to transform their home or workplace,’ says the company.
