MAPEI is set to extend its Zero Line with the introduction of six resilient products later this year, five of which will be manufactured in the UK.

Says Mapei: ‘The products, which include adhesives and substrate preparation products, also benefit from very low VOC EMICODE: EC1 Plus certified formulations, providing a safe, high-performance solution for contractors and specifiers, with CO2 fully offset in the entire lifecycle.

‘The Zero Line series demonstrates Mapei’s commitment to the planet, to people and to biodiversity. CO2 emissions measured throughout the product’s lifecycle using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, verified and certified with EPDs, have been offset through the acquisition of certified carbon credits in support of forestry protection projects.

‘The Zero Line currently includes products from Mapei’s ceramic and stone materials, cleaning, maintenance and protection, mortars and masonry restoration, waterproofing and coatings lines.

‘The new UK-manufactured Zero Line products will include: Ultrabond Eco V4 Evolution Zero all-in-one adhesive, Ultrabond Eco 4 LVT Zero fibre-reinforced adhesive, Eco Prim T Plus Zero universal acrylic primer, Ultrabond Eco Tack TX+ Zero carpet tile tackifier and Ultraplan Eco 3215 Zero ultra-fast hardening self-levelling compound.’
