In February the CFA held a member event kindly hosted by F Ball & Co in Leek, Staffs. There was an update on all things CFA, including the launch of ‘Beyond Installation-Guidance on Underfloor Heating’, followed by a comprehensive update from F Ball on subfloor preparation and adhesive systems suitable for use with underfloor heating, with the theory presented by Steve Boulton (Technical Services Manager) and the practical demos of the systems provided by Tim Green (Head of Training), including best practice, looking at common issues, how to spot them and how to resolve them, and there were mock-up boards and displays of some of the main underfloor heating systems.
