WHAT a difference 12 months makes as this year’s race day in Scotland was blessed with glorious weather – no thermals needed this time. The Bothwell Castle Raceday at Hamilton Park Racecourse took place on Wednesday 21 June and was attended by 107 guests, the most we have ever welcomed to a race day.

There was a real buzz to the event and it was so nice to see colleagues and friends catching up and whilst there was plenty of flooring talk, there was also a lot of fun and laughter as well. The three-course lunch was excellent and was a great start to the day.

The horseracing was exciting throughout the afternoon and there were some big cheers from the CFA contingent along the way indicating some successes.

Once again, this was another successful CFA event at this popular venue. A magnificent turnout across many sections of the flooring industry enjoyed a great day of racing and socialising. Thanks go to everyone who attended and, of course, Hamilton Park Racecourse, who looked after us very well, as always. We look forward to welcoming everyone to next year’s event for hopefully another enjoyable day’
