TILEMASTER Adhesives Professional Flooring products were chosen by Envira Floors which was the flooring contractor for Absolute Commercial Interiors when it was commissioned to design and develop Curve Digital’s new offices in Nottingham.

The project involved smoothing and levelling about 500sq m of concrete screed, for which Envira Floor used Pro Flow applied over a coat of Prime Plus.

Says Tilemaster: ‘Pro Flow is a rapid-setting, high performance, double-component smoothing and levelling compound. It has excellent flow and adhesion properties making it suitable for a wide range of both domestic and commercial applications on most substrates.

‘It can be applied from depths of 2-12mm in one application and is ready to receive resilient floorcoverings after four hours. The subfloor required smoothing with a coat of compound at about 6mm depth to level it out in some areas.’

Tilemaster Feather was also used for areas that required small blemishes to be smoothed before the flooring was installed. ‘Feather is an ultra-fine rapid drying product that can be used for patching and feathering depressions, trowel marks and so on. It can be used in depths between featheredge and 3mm.’

The subfloor preparation took about two days to complete, allowing Envira Floors to finish the flooring well within the 10-day window that it was given.
