: THE disruption caused by the Covid-19 lockdowns, announced in the UK in March 2020, caused widespread chaos with respect to exhibition and show dates throughout the UK and beyond. Just when exhibition organisers thought it was safe to press ahead with their shows, another lockdown would come along and spoil the best laid plans.
However now, at the end of 2022, we can be fairly confident that things are almost back to normal. As proof, we reproduce below a selection of flooring exhibition and show dates for our readers.
Domotex in Germany will kick things off with its ‘Floored by nature’ theme. Say the organisers: ‘This will deal with the questions about a healthy, natural and sustainable living in our working and living spaces. Value-based themes and issues surrounding responsibility towards our environment and nature will be on the agenda of Domotex.’
The organisers continue: ‘Floored by nature also stands for the fascination that nature exudes as a source of inspiration and serves as a perfect role model. The world’s leading trade show for carpets and floor coverings invites all participants in the 33rd edition to take a new perspective on the central spatial element of flooring.
‘New areas of application, trends and innovations are waiting to be discovered at Domotex. Months before Domotex 2023, the hall spaces were already very well booked. Both organisers and exhibitors are optimistic and anticipate a strong event, which will once again be organised as an onsite trade show including digital participations.’
