THE new website Carpettilesfd.com will, the company says, supply carpet tiles to contractors at factory gate prices.
Says the company: ‘At Carpet Tiles Factory Direct we have been manufacturing, jet dying and selling carpet tiles for over 40 years, in-cooperation with the Van Heugten family, makers of the original Heuga carpet tile. Our carpet tiles are available in standard 50cmx50cm size, however, we can also manufacture and supply various other sizes, for example: 1mx50cm, 1mx1m and 2mx1m etc. Please ask if you require any other specific dimensions.
‘We’re aware of the vast difference in the ex-factory price and the actual price contractors pay. We have therefore created an online, Trade Only website (carpettilesfd.com) enabling contractors to purchase at more realistic prices. Our products are Class 33 heavy commercial use carpet tiles, with a 10-year commercial wear guarantee.
‘We don’t offer cheap quality carpet tiles which are usually manufactured from polypropylene yarn with a low pile weight and portrayed as contract quality. Products which don’t have a Class 33 wear classification do not usually wear as expected in a commercial setting. This is most apparent in an environment using castor chairs and will therefore result in the pile flattening.’
Carpet Tiles Factory Direct says it offers exclusive and bespoke jet dyed deigns to our trade customers. ‘We operate the most advanced Chromojet system of colour insertion. This process ensures colour is precisely placed according to the specified colour and design of your carpet tile. Jet density plus jet pressure results in deep colour penetration and outstanding definition.
‘Contractors or repeat buyers must initially complete the online Trade Application Form. Once approved, your account will be activated and discount prices will be available to view.’
On successfully registering, you’ll have the option to choose a design from one of the brochures. ‘These designs will be unique to you and available in a range of colourways (terms and conditions apply). Alternatively, you can send our team your own design, using the upload box on our website or via email. Minimum order quantities apply to customer’s designs. These designs will be unique to you and you will have exclusive rights.’
Carpet tiles with company logos are also available and can be scaled to any size up to 1mx2m. The company adds: ‘Logo carpet tiles are great to personalise your workspace. Our exclusive designs are dyed onto ‘class 33 heavy commercial use’ base tiles and are suitable for most commercial environments. We offer two nylon base tiles: FD 600 pile weight of 600 Gr/M2 FD 900 pile weight of 900 Gr/M2 Specifications and colours can be viewed in our brochure.’
