UNILIN Flooring, a division of Unilin Group, has announced the signing of an agreement to purchase Salesmark, a regional distributor in the UK. This acquisition is reportedly in line with the businesses strategic growth ambition, which would allow Unilin to offer a greatly enhanced level of service to customers across England and Wales.

The company says it will complement and enhance the company’s existing distribution model by more than doubling the current fleet of delivery vehicles and adding additional warehouse capacity.

This expansion reportedly greatly enhances Unilin Flooring’s operations in the UK where currently, through Unilin Distribution, it offers ‘a wide and innovative range of flooring products’ to its customers.

Commenting on the acquisition, Nigel McManus, general manager at Unilin Distribution said: ‘Unilin Distribution was the first distributor acquired by the Unilin Group back in 2009 and since then we’ve experienced impressive growth and high levels of customer satisfaction. The acquisition of Salesmark will greatly add to this growth by incorporating their excellent customer service model into our own.’
