COMPLETE Flooring Solutions has created a safe environment for pupils at Townhill Community School thanks to what are described as the superior qualities of UltraFloor’s subfloor preparation materials.

Background
Townhill Community School is at the heart of the area it serves. In order to continue providing excellent facilities for its pupils, flooring across 500sq m of hallways and corridors has been replaced with premium quality safety vinyl tiles.

The challenge
Complete Flooring Solutions had a short time frame to complete the project and delays weren’t an option as the floors needed to be ready to welcome back pupils after their summer holiday.

The solution
UltraFloor says it has a long and successful history of supplying subfloor preparation materials to the education sector. It says many of its products can be pump applied for a quick installation process in larger areas, are odourless for a more pleasant working environment and are protein-free to help prevent the spread of harmful bacteria.

To begin, Complete Flooring Solutions ripped up the old vinyl tiles and existing safety flooring. The entire area was cleaned and contaminants removed before Level IT Hydra Bond was applied at a 3mm depth.

To complete the project, Complete Flooring Solutions installed Tarkett Safetred Universal Sheet Vinyl throughout the hallways and corridors.
