Flooring and hygienic systems for industrial and commercial applications

TPS360 says it’s a market-leading supplier and installer of flooring and hygienic systems for industrial and commercial applications. It adds that it has the capability to install all types of resin flooring systems in a wide range of different sectors, and these include food and beverage, where the company’s business is reportedly growing rapidly.

Says the company: ‘Clients recognise the benefits TPS360 can offer as a project management company. As well as delivering polyurethane screed flooring, which is the standard in the food and beverage industry, the company is able to deliver much bigger projects, including specialist screeding, drainage, and hygienic panelling to create a hygienic production environment and provide a full project management solution for the customer.’

The company continues: ‘An example of the expertise of TPS360 can be seen in a project recently completed for Soupreme Foods at its Skelmersdale factory. Established in 2017 and based at a brand-new state-of-the-art 50,000sq ft, allergen-free, food processing facility, Soupreme produce a diverse range of plant-based private label food products for the retail and food service sectors.

‘Over a 12-week period TPS360 installed a heavy-duty resin screed, complete with drainage. For this project, BASF MasterTop 1317 heavy duty PU screed was selected for its hardwearing properties; it provides a lightly textured protective floor finish suitable for applications in wet and dry process environments, such as food production.’

This is a FeRFA Type 8 solution – the heaviest duty type of resin flooring, which is virtually impervious owing to its thickness, says the company, adding that Ucrete RG was chosen to protect the vertical surfaces in the facility, including coving and kerbs. The underground and surface drainage systems were also installed by TPS360 as part of the project.

‘The hygiene-sensitive BLÜCHER drainage system comprised channels of 9x4m, 2x3m and 1x2m in length, eight outlets for wash stations, an underground connection grease interceptor and two manholes. The system is manufactured from stainless-steel grade AISI 304, which is ideally suited for high quality drainage solutions.’

TPS360 says the inherent qualities of stainless-steel are enhanced by careful product design, resulting in what says are:

  • Long product life expectancy
  • Excellent hygienic properties
  • Easy installation
  • Whole life cost advantages
  • Excellent flow capacities

To further promote its total project management solutions to the food and beverage market, TPS360 has recently become an associate member of the Food & Drink Forum, the specialist trade association which supports food and drink businesses. It’s also just joined the Association for Project Management (APM) as part of its Corporate Partnership Programme.

This is aimed at organisations which are serious about developing their project management capability and community and who want to learn from each other and be aligned to the chartered body for the project profession.
