For some time, we have been exploring ways to make life easier for businesses and individuals to connect with Hanson Plywood and obtain concise and informative detail about our operations and services. The unwelcome arrival of the pandemic encouraged us to forge ahead with our efforts as we can now see a definitive need for digital/virtual services that provide a resource which eliminates some of the health risks associated with close social interaction
A significant focus of our endeavours has been the creation of our Hanson Plywood virtual showroom which we are pleased to announce is live. It is intended to be an ideal platform for architects, designers and specifiers to view a range of the products and services we offer, along with accompanying technical data/information.
Our aim is to provide as much relevant information as possible within the virtual showroom which you can access in the comfort of your home/office.
In our main showroom you will see, next to the reception desk, a downloadable copy of our most recent company brochure, as well as an enquiry feature to ask our sales/technical staff any questions about our products or the showroom.
We also include a virtual library which stocks all our latest information/publications. Within the library, you will also find a section for our suppliers’ technical information which will be very useful if you are looking for a specific product.
We further developed this resource by adding a ‘Phase 2 & Phase 3’. Here are some of the new features which were added:
Sample gallery sections in each product blocks in the main showroom.
An in-depth panel gallery situated at the back of the showroom.
An exciting product focus TV feature, with a new product/supplier featured every month.
An OSB, MDF and chipboard product section.
An iPad in the library to enable visitors to ‘visit the factory’ and view product manufacturing videos.
A trade section in the library.
A plywood flooring centre which features SP101 flooring plywood, along with other product information.
A professional and technical zone which includes information about the company, specification, environment and sustainability.
As a company Hanson Plywood have a large focus on sustainability, our next phase will be centred on educating showroom visitors on the steps we take to ensure environmental and technical assurance for all our products.
