Acquisition signifies a larger footprint for COBA in the construction and flooring industry
On the 1st of July 2021, the COBA Group (COBA International Ltd) acquired C.A.T. (Carpet Accessory Trims Ltd), the highly regarded manufacturer of specialist flooring accessories. C.A.T. now joins COBA Flooring within the Group, as two well regarded brands providing flooring and accessory products to the construction sector in the UK and beyond.
C.A.T. flooring trims and COBA entrance matting systems are specified and installed into major commercial projects and public buildings throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. C.A.T. also offers a range of designer trims for the domestic market.
C.A.T. was formed in Watford, Hertfordshire, in 1986 with just three products and the support of several industry friends. Since its conception, C.A.T. has endeavoured to provide customers with the very best flooring profiles, and now the brand is recognised as a market leader in quality and innovation, with an unparalleled range of products.
As the construction and flooring industry gain confidence from what has been a challenging eighteen months, it is hoped that the bringing together of C.A.T and COBA, will provide shared benefits to their shared customer base. In her new role as Business Director, COBA’s Danni Cooke, will be visible at both businesses:
