THE Quick-Step Master Installer programme is exclusively available from the Academy for Excellence in Flooring, reportedly the UK’s only training centre to provide access to a lifetime manufacturer-backed warranty on workmanship.
Says the institution: ‘Negating the worry for homeowners of choosing a bona fide product installer, the academy cuts through an unregulated industry and provides legitimate credentials for flooring professionals.
‘Appointing a Quick-Step Master Installer allows homeowners access to a skilled and product knowledgeable fitter. Every Master Installer trained at the academy is fully backed by the prestigious Quick-Step name and can provide an optional lifetime warranty on their workmanship.’
Master Installers can be found through Quick-Step’s website, allowing homeowners to select a local Master Installer and ‘to have the confidence of an expert installation of their new Quick-Step floor’.
With more than 13,000 searches for installers alone throughout 2021, the website is also said to be an important part of promotion for all Master Installers.
Lee Thompson, technical and procurement manager at the academy, says: ‘Our Master Fitter programme gives flooring professionals the ability to provide the reassurance and benefit of a lifetime workmanship warranty on Quick-Step floors. Not only does this deliver peace of mind for homeowners but it also provides Master Installers with a real advantage over local competitors.’
Continues the academy: ‘The Master Installer programme is accessible to all flooring professionals with more than two years of installation experience or those who have already undertaken the academy’s foundation programme.’
The three-day course includes a mix of classroom-based and practical learning sessions, and culminates in a full-day assessment, resulting in a pass or fail qualification. The course is reportedly dedicated to ensuring high standards are met, so a Quick-Step backed workmanship warranty is made possible.
