Herringbone designs the sustainable way

GRANORTE’s answer to LVT and WPC flooring, SolidTREND is now available in herringbone and features a sustainable cork backing for what the company describes as impressive thermal insulation and sound absorption.

Says the company: ‘Responding to the growing demand, Granorte has introduced four herringbone designs to the collection’s original wood plank and concrete tile effects. Each feature-packed design uses an embossed texture on its wearlayer for a more natural appearance and comes with a micro-bevel for a defined plank or tile look.

‘Also boasting a waterproof Solid Rigid Core polymer for fantastic stability over large areas with no telegraphing, SolidTREND is a super-strong floor that’s been designed with functional performance in mind.’

Granorte continues: ‘Impact and indentation resistant, SOLIDTrend comes with a 0.55mm ceramic enhanced wearlayer and a DURAMOND hardwearing super matt finish for a realistic surface that offers high scratch and abrasion resistance. And as a product made by Granorte, SolidTREND also features a sustainable cork backing that makes installation easier and rooms feel warmer and quieter.’

The company adds: ‘SolidTREND has been designed with a greater core density than WPC or SPC floors, so that it can be fitted in areas up to 500sq m without expansion joints. The cork backing eliminates minor irregularities and the click floor can be installed over a range of substrates. With excellent stability, there’s also no acclimatisation required before installing with the fast and easy i4F click system.’

Paulo Rocha of Granorte, says: ‘We launched SOLIDTrend as an alternative to SPC and WPC floors and it has impressive performance. In fact, it’s our toughest ever floor and is more than up to the task of flooring duties in busy shops, offices and hotels.

‘In these environments, its ability to be installed in the biggest of areas without expansion joints makes for a much better looking floor. Add in the new herringbone styles, and SOLIDTrend makes a tempting proposition for homes and business looking for the ultimate performance flooring.’

SOLIDTrend is part of Trendcollection by Granorte. Trendcollection cork floors are focused on style, easy installation and performance.

Concludes Granorte: ‘From traditional cork floating floors to the latest solid rigid core technology that click easily into place, these low-maintenance floors are designed to stand up to scratches, scuffs, stains and even water.’
