By submitting editorial material for publication, contributors agree to the following terms.
Accuracy and substantiation
All content must be accurate to the best of the contributor’s knowledge at the time of submission. Contributors are responsible for ensuring that all factual statements, data, claims and quotations are correct and can be substantiated if requested.
The publisher accepts no responsibility for inaccuracies supplied by contributors.
Opinions and viewpoints
Any opinions expressed are those of the named author and do not necessarily reflect the views of the publisher. Opinion must be clearly presented as such and not stated as fact.
Product, performance and sustainability claims
References to product performance, specifications, compliance, standards, testing or sustainability credentials must be factual, current and verifiable.
Environmental or sustainability claims must be clear, proportionate and not misleading, in line with accepted industry and regulatory guidance.
Legal and ethical assurance
Contributors confirm that submitted material:
- Does not infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights
- Is not defamatory, misleading or unlawful
- Complies with applicable advertising, competition and consumer protection regulations
Images and supporting content
Contributors confirm they hold the rights to all supplied images and grant permission for their use in print, digital and online formats.
The publisher accepts no liability for copyright issues arising from supplied materials.
Editorial control
Submission does not guarantee publication. The publisher reserves the right to edit content for clarity, length, style and legal compliance, amend headlines and captions, or decline material at any stage.
Commercial neutrality
Editorial content must be presented in a neutral, factual manner. Content that is promotional in nature may be reclassified or declined at the publisher’s discretion.
Indemnity
Contributors agree to indemnify the publisher against any claims or losses arising from the publication of supplied material.
